Meeting DT member ....

Suzanne K

We have some sad news today... Suzanne will be taking a break from the team as she has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and has a hard road ahead :( We ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she battles this disease! big (HUGS) to Suzanne and all affected by breast cancer.

Here are the getting to know you questions she answered for us earlier ....

Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Sydney, but now live on the South Coast of NSW and love it.

Tell us something interesting about you?
Mmmm hard one, I have just recently been promoted to Excecutive Administration Manager and am now 3rd in charge of a multi million dollar business.

How long been mad for copics?
I bought my first set about 1 year ago and fell in love with Copics, I practice constantly to improve my colouring skills.

My first collection?
I first bought an assorted 36 Set A

If I were a Copic...
I guess I would be R85, which is one of my favourites, it’s very feminine and I like to think I am too.

Who/What inspires?
Many blogs inspire me, but I have some wonderfully talented ladies I follow and they are such inspiration, Lena Katrine, Wench and Penny Duncan are three of my favourite crafters, amazing ladies.

What do I like to colour
Almost anything really, but at the moment my favourite images are Sugar Nellie and LOTV stamps.

What colour can’t use or don’t like.
I find reds and blacks the hardest to use, although I have gotten better lately at colouring with the reds, I have recently found a good combo that works well.

Colours on wishlist.
Yes there are many, although I have an amazing collection of Copics now I still need to get some more greens and yellows.

Favourite technique
Not sure I have a favourite, but I do prefer to colour light to dark.

What do I like to listen to?
I usually don’t listen to anything, no telly, no music, I like the quiet.

What do I Snack on whilst colouring? I don’t snack whilst colouring or crafting, but I do love my coffee so I usually have a cup on hand.

What I wish I knew when I first started...
I didn’t know how to blend properly, wished I had known that. I watched many tutorials and practiced and I think I have a good handle on blending now.
