Lavender Bags

Hi all, Annette here today, continuing on with this fortnights challenge colouring with copics on something other than paper. I have made some cute lavender bags, I stamped a butterfly image on some cotton material, coloured using V15, FRV1 and YR16, then stitched the material to make little bags, threaded with ribbon and filled with lavender that I have dried from the garden.

A close up of one of the bags, these smell beautiful and can be used in drawers or hung or door handles etc. Would make gorgeous little gifts.

Last week on my blog I coloured on tissue paper and ribbon and made a lantern, which you can see here, we really would love to see your creations. Keep popping by to see what other wonderful ideas the DT girls come up with.

Feathering with Sweet Pea

Good morning everyone. What a splendid week it has been here in Australia. Sunshine but not too hot. Just perfect for us here. I love this time of year except for the freezing nights brrrrrrr...!!!! LOL.

For my post today I have done some feathering on our love girls tail. If you are unsure on how to do feathering please go to this tutorial that was made by our lovely chief Sammi. It is a great tutorial and this is a wonderful challenge.

As you can see I did use a lot of colours - see top photo. I love all these colours. They are my favourites. The tail was feathered with R20 and Y00. The yellow flower was Airbrushed with Y11. Hope you get some inspiration from my card.

Copics used:

Skin: E000, 00, 21, 02.

Hair: E29, 39, 35, 31.

Tail: Y08, Y06, Y02, Y00, 0000.

Top: R59, 37, 35, 32, 30.

Sky: B02, 01, 000.

Leaves: YG03.
