Bricks and Mortar'ing

On Tuesday we opened the doors of our Bricks and Mortar store. Finally! We are so happy to be open now and are enjoying seeing old friends and customers and meeting new ones too! If you are in Sydney please do come in and say "Hi". If you are not on facebook then here are a couple of snapshots of our opening day for you to see!

So It's about time we started to show you some INSPIRATION/ Creations again don't you think? Well, here's a fun one that I have been saving for you... Look at the different results you can achieve with the one stamp...

This stamp is a Bloom stamp called "Ginger" from Prima. Available in our online store HERE :)
the one on the left (by Sammi) has been stamped with pale ink onto Xpress GraphX Paper and then coloured in with Copic markers. The one on the right  (by Emma) has been stamped with the same ink onto an art journal page and coloured with paint pens and Prismacolor pencils. Isn't it fantastic that you can achieve such different results with the same stamp!!

Thanks for stopping by our blog.

Hi all,
Busy making Christmas cards??
Did you get some of the new Nativity digi's??
For the new nativity/christmas digi see  qui- here-hier.

I wanted to show you also some other new Nativity digi's..
but my printer decided not to work.

Anyway I thought it was time for another male birthday card,
so I have got my cool steampunk Ryan out..
Which I had already printed out some time ago.

I have used these copics to colour the card ;
skin: E0000, E000, E11
hair: E31, E33, E 35, E 37
clothes : W 2, W 3, W 5. W 7, B 00, B97, B 99
shadow / confetti : W2, W 3, W 5, B 0000, E 000

This was the card I had made for the release.
A card in non traditional colours..but I think it suits this pretty angel designed by Sammi...

Have a great december month , happy crafting and see you soon!!
Would love to get your visit on my personal blog too.

Hugs Blankina

Copic Coloring Shepard Boy Ryan With Sheep

Busy busy month December is turning out to be in the studio!  But...not to busy to color! :)

I actually had a moment to sit and create a video tutorial on coloring Shepard Boy Ryan and share a technique on how to color the sheep..to give it the fuzzy look. :) The 1st video tackles the sheep  and also using certain papers to your advantage.  The rest of the videos are of coloring the clothes. If you don't see all the videos just yet please be patient as I am uploading them. :)

Hugs
Paola :)
