Good afternoon :) We have an exiting release today... some little AFL players :) These kids are available in lineart and also coloured files for you to you on your crafting projects :D

Birthday Wishes Girl Paper and Panda Girl

I just wanted to share with you a card that I made using the Echo Park - Birthday Wishes Girl paper pad - that you can purchase in the store here :) the flowers (from Prima) are also available for purchase here and the image was drawn for SMASH last year and I just added her to the store yesterday - Panda girl :)

Release day :: Steampunks

Good morning! Everyone :) Yay.. time for a new release here at Mad for Markers.

Whilst at the Papercraft show at Penrith earlier this year I was speaking to a lady about my images and she said she didn't "do cute" and I should do some Steampunk images .. so I  got to studying and sketching .. and here's the result - Today's release... thing is I can't seem to not do cute so we have a couple of cute Steampunkers ...

Rhys has a NEW (pretty awesome) guitar ... Blankina has created this great card with him ...

Taya has gotten into the spirit of Steampunk with her funky outfit ... Aren't those wings Fab!!

Nicole has used her for this lovely Filofax insert :D 

And I (Sammi) have used Taya and Rhys on a card here.. along with some G45 paper AND handmade cog paper using the new Cog stencil ... Available in the M4M store here

Ryan and Brianna wanted in on the action so here they are in their finest Steampunk gear..
The cogs have been cut out on the Silhouette and I will provide a FREE file to anyone interested :D Just email me :D

A Faerie Mushroom release

Good morning!! Today is a NEW release here at Mad for Markers ... and it's a very lovely one... TWO Beautiful Faeries ... I hope you like them as much as I do.. they are such FUN to colour! I designed them for our Colour Conference day yesterday :) Which was a FUN and Colourful day!!! My friend and DT member Emma named these Faeries :)

Oh So Cute!

Good morning Jac here to share with you some more wonderful creations from the world of Mad For Markers Digi Stamps.  

Now have you seen the challenge that is going on this month over on the Mad For Markers Challenge Blog?  No!  Well you had better check it out then, but before you do the talented Carly has this awesome little cutie to share with you.  She has used the gorgeous Miss Piglet from the Doggies Collection and she has turned her into this adorable finger puppet, it really is a little darling!

Now isn't that just the cutest and Carly made it for her toddler who loves make believe, I can see hours of fun to be had with the Doggies Collection which is available over at the Mad For Markers Online Store.

Well I hope that has inspired you to pop over and join the 'Off the page' challenge and I look forward to seeing you here again next week with some more digi inspiration.

Mr Boots Lives Here

Hi Jac here again from a wet and windy UK!  So Sorry I missed you all last Wednesday but my work just got in the way and not much crafting happened,  but I'm trying very hard to make up for it this week as I'm on holiday and the weather doesn't bother me as I can just stay in and craft! lol

Anyway this week I have a make to share with you that fits in with this months challenge over at the Mad For Markers Challenge Blog - Off the Page (no cards or layouts) after a bit of a think and after being suitably impressed by Sammi's shoes this is what I came up with.  Now I know I have used paper but its definitely not a card.  It wasn't the easiest to photograph either as the CD I used for the base was very reflective!  Well I have coloured Mr Boots from the Doggies Collection, available at Mad For Markers Online Store and coloured him using E33, 35,37 and 29.  Paper is from a very old digi kit called Best Friends and the bowl of food is from another kit, matted it all onto some brown cs and then onto the cd and added some funky fibres for a finishing touch.

More Digi inspiration

Hi Jac here with a little more inspiration from the Digi DT.

Today I have made a simple bookmark using the wonderful Katniss from the Hunger Games which is available at the Mad For Markers Store.  When I say simple all I did was print the image onto a long narrow scrap of card I had, coloured her in with my copics and then folded the card at the head end, cut around leaving a small border and being sure not to cut completely across the fold! Then I added a couple of strips of s/a magnet and hey presto 1 bookmark.  So Katniss is now poking her head out of Ria's latest book only she doesn't know about it yet as she is at school so will have to find out what she thinks tomorrow as I'm on the late shift tonight!

'Hunger Games' New Mad For Markers Digi Release

Good morning Jac here, (actually I've sheduled this post as I will probably be just heading off to bed in the UK! lol)  I wanted to let you know about the fantastic new digi stamps available over at Mad For Markers online Store.  They are fab and are based on the characters from the new hit film and books 'Hunger Games'.  Sammi has done a fabulous job and created Katniss and Prim and the digi DT have some samples to show you how wonderful they are.

Lest We Forget

Today in Australia / New Zealand we have ANZAC Day .. where we remember the soldiers who fought and lost their lives never to return home.. we remember their sacrifice that we might live the lives we do today in freedom in this beautiful country!

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.

I thought I would sketch up some little Diggers in memory.. Here they are .... in their Jellybeans and then in their Khaki outfits ...

It's a Doggie Dog World

Good morning! I hope you are all well and had a fabulous Easter!!!

I have been changing my mind about when to release my Doggies .. and in the process have told people the wrong dates all over the place... (mm.. I Guess that's what happens when you are doing LOTS of things - we are in the process of getting our apartment on the market and so my brain is not quite there!) Soooo.. anyway TODAY I decided to just release away and then keep showing you inspiration using the Doggies over the next couple of weeks! I  hope you like them... I have a lot more Dogs in sketch form too.. which I might clean up for Digis... lots more breeds ... if there is a particular one you would like feel free to make a request and I'll see what I can do :) But for now....
