Coloring on Acetate

Happy Wednesday! Emma here and today it's my turn to show you some inspiration for our current challenge, which is to color on something other than paper! I decided to color on Acetate and create some gorgeous wings for Tilda. I stamped with Black Staz On onto the acetate and colored it on the reverse side with my copic markers. Now remember Staz On is not our Copics friend and will ruin your markers if you color directly onto it! So if you want to color onto acetate, just make sure that you color on the reserve side!!! I am really happy with the effect for Tilda's wings, kind of looks like stained glass! I also colored my pearls from white to pink to match my card. I love how my Copics can color anything to match my project. No need to buy colored embellishments anymore!

Copic Colors Used

Hair - E47, E25, E50, E53 and Sand Spica
Dress - RV00, RV02, RV04
Rose - V01, V06, V09, Lavender Spica
Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20
Butterfly Wings - RV02, BG23, V15

There have been some fantastic entries into this challenge, but there is still time to get your entry in! So get coloring for your chance to win a guest DT spot and a Mad For Markers voucher valed at $16. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

That is so cool. Thanks for that!! I tried colouring with my copics on acetate - but it made my black ink run - silly me didn't think about using the copics on the other side!!!! Brilliant:-)
