With my little man's birthday coming up in just a few days, a couple of weeks back I set out to create some birthday invitations. Now when I set out to do this I'm not sure that I was thinking clearly lol... I hand coloured 20 individual LaLa Land Pirate Luka's. Crazy I know. But I'm so pleased with the end results.
Just a couple of tips for if you decide to colour an image in duplicate...
1. Allow adequate time to colour them... It is definitely time consuming
2. Think about if you need to hand cut each of the images or if you can work the cardstock into your design ..I averaged 7 minutes per pirate to handcut
3. If you are colouring each of the images using the same colours ensure that you have Reinkers on hand for each marker, as there is nothing worse than being almost finished and then running out of ink.
Thanks for stopping by the Mad For Markers Blog and don't forget if you didn't have the opportunity to join in the Mad For Markers 2nd Birthday Blog there is still time... Just head on over to Mad for Markers Challenge Blog and hop away.
Till next time,
Rach xoxo
