Pink + Sparkles (and a little challenge)

While the sun was making its presence known today, I spent the morning at a funeral. It was a pleasant service of sweet memories even though it is sad to say goodbye to the 17 year old. I was trying to work out what my mojo would be like after it and so decided to colour up an image in her favourite colour, pink. They also mentioned in the eulogy that she liked sparkles so for a change from my usual I've included lots of Spica (and not just Clear)...

some LaLa creations

I am just popping on to share some creations I have made with some of the latest LaLa Land stamps... These new stamps are going to be for sale at our project class with Irina on the 16th June (if you desperately need some before then please send me an email).

 

I am sorry I have not recorded the Copics used... I always could take a good guess as I coloured them whilst in Adelaide last week and I had limited markers with me .. I can tell you however that my new favourite PINKS are the RV50s.... so pretty!!! :) And I can also tell you that the middle card has RED in the her hair for extra contrast with the brown... Thanks for stopping by! I'm off to clean up the place again! Really looking forward to moving to our new house in a few weeks and having a room JUST for M4M/ craft!!! :D

Hello Copic lovers ... Just checking in - unfortunately I am in a home of no Internet just now ....ahhhhhh - it's broken!! So I'm borrowing my sister-in-law's computer ... as just wanted to let you know a few things...

1. Orders can now be placed in store - If markers you want are out of stock please email me your requests to order in!

2. New stamps from The Greeting Farm and Some Odd Girl are now available!!

3. The lovely Irina has posted pictures to the Mad for Markers facebook group of the project she will be showing us how to make at the class on the 16th June!! Have a look at these beautiful creations....

Gone GaGa for LaLa Land

Good afternoon! I am so excited about the upcoming Project Class with Irina from LaLa Land crafts... that will be HERE in Sydney on the 16th June...  YAY!! you can register/ purchase the class HERE! I can't wait to see what we are making..  I've heard details and it will be an AWESOME project I am sure!!

So I thought I  would create some LaLa cards in anticipation... and I decided to try and copy off the packaging that comes with the stamps.. I LOVE that Irina has included a QR code so you can see what COPICS she used in the packaging sample!

I thought it would be fun to show you .. via some funky Instagram effects.. the packaging with my coloured image. Under each of these is the card I have created with my coloured image!!

Super Hero Star Man Luka Easel Card

Hi all, hope you are all well, today for my inspiration I would like to show you this fantastic boys image from LaLa Land 'Star Boy Luka' available here. I have made an easel using papers from DCWV 'All about the Boys Stack', perfect for our super hero.

Used Silver, Gold and Clear Spicas on his cuffs, star, buckle and boots.

I have coloured the beige Happy Birthday Ribbon with R29, B14 and Y15 to match the papers, love this paper, reminds me of Batman and Robin when I was a kid with all the bubble speech marks lol! Showing my age now lol!
