With the weather around Sydney in the past few days, the theme for our current challenge has been perfect! I am totally loving Spesch stamps at the moment and this particular one suited the theme perfectly...
I know that you are all so use to me colouring in my Mad For Markers Copic colour journal, with all the colours surrounding my image, but this week I was adventurous and cut this image out with intentions of making it into a card... And sadly have misplaced all my scribblings from around it! :-( so I will have a search over the weekend and will come back and edit the post with the colours once I have located my scribblings. Have a great weekend, and happy colouring!

Still a little in the birthday spirit....
With my little man's birthday coming up in just a few days, a couple of weeks back I set out to create some birthday invitations. Now when I set out to do this I'm not sure that I was thinking clearly lol... I hand coloured 20 individual LaLa Land Pirate Luka's. Crazy I know. But I'm so pleased with the end results.
Just a couple of tips for if you decide to colour an image in duplicate...
1. Allow adequate time to colour them... It is definitely time consuming
2. Think about if you need to hand cut each of the images or if you can work the cardstock into your design ..I averaged 7 minutes per pirate to handcut
3. If you are colouring each of the images using the same colours ensure that you have Reinkers on hand for each marker, as there is nothing worse than being almost finished and then running out of ink.
Thanks for stopping by the Mad For Markers Blog and don't forget if you didn't have the opportunity to join in the Mad For Markers 2nd Birthday Blog there is still time... Just head on over to Mad for Markers Challenge Blog and hop away.
Till next time,
Rach xoxo

Monochromatic Reds & Red Violets
This week to get in the spirit of the current challenge running over on the Challenge blog, I decided to challenge myself to see if I could colour an image only using markers from the Red & Red Violet families. I'm pleased to say that I did, and I'm pretty happy with how the awesome Greeting Farm Stamp - Madden turned out.

Something new...
Good morning Copic lovers, Rachael here for today's post. After some nice celebrations yesterday to celebrate Australia Day, the weather has turned completely miserable, but it is the perfect colouring weather. With the current challenge over on the Mad For Markers Challenge blog, I decided to challenge myself too and try a couple of different colour combinations. My Mad For Markers Copic Journal is just perfect to trying new colour combinations and also a great place to keep a list of new colour combinations I may stumble across blog hopping. Today I'm sharing two new combinations, one for blonde hair and one for skin. I'm really loving the blonde hair colour combo... think I will be using this one again.
Till next time, happy colouring
