Happy Saturday Copic Lovers!

I am sharing two cards with you today, both were inspired by this photo of my daughter and her friend.

The photo is from my Project 365 and portrays Summer Fun.... as does Beach Marci, a sweet stamp from the La La Land Crafts Stamps range, available in the Mad for Markers store.  The bright pink inflatable ring, blonde hair of  my daughter and the blue/green of the water all inspired my chose of Copic colours for these cards.

For my first card I reached for my favourite pink and purple colour combinations -

Copics Used:

Sun-Hat - BG11, BG13, BG15, R81, R83, R85
Swim Suit - V12, V15, V17, BG11, BG13, BG15,
Inflatable Ring - R81, R83, R85, BG11, BG13, BG15

I also used a little bling in the centre of the floral design of the inflatable ring and the sun hat.

I was a little more adventurous for my second card, challenging myself to use a more vivid pink combination of Copics and a little air-brushing.

I love how you can take one image and get so many different looks for your cards just by varying your colour choices. Copic Australia's card challenge

There's still a bit of time left for you to enter Copic Australia's card challenge... here are 2 cards I've made to send off to them (they are in the post today)... the cards are due in VICTORIA this week so get cracking today and pop it in the post ASAP!!!! LOL!



I've used two stamps from La-La Land Crafts... They are quite nice to colour in!! We do still have a couple of La-La Land stamps available in the M4M store... so check them out but be quick as there are not many left!

now I realise today is supposed to be Tuesdays TUTORIAL/ Tuesdays TIPS... so here's a quick little tip...

want to add highlights??
Get some Copic Opaque white... which allows you to add highlights (with a paintbrush)

I know that's a pretty basic one... here's a question for you??

Saturday Sharing

I've taken a slight detour this week and won't be sharing a "Layout"  today because I have some exciting news for you from the Mad for Markers store.

I have the pleasure of announcing that the La La Land range of stamps are now available to order online - at the store - Woo Hoo!! - these are just some of the cutest little images you have ever seen! The stamps are deeply etched cling cushion rubber, all cut, ready to use on your acrylic blocks...the Marci and Luka characters truly are gorgeous images to colour and the animal creatures are simply adorable - especially the sweet little "Easter Bunny"! - perfect timing for your Easter Card making.

I  chose to share "Luka with Truck" with you today - just to follow along with our Male Card Theme over on the Challenge Blog - and if you look closely at the photo you will see a "sneak peek" of Miss "Sugar & Spice Marci" - very cute!
