Thursdays fun....April GDT ladies!

Good morning Copic lovers.. well as you read this I should certainly be on my way to set up for Paperific... as long as everything made it into the car... looking at those piles there is a LOT of stuff to take down! LOL!

Anyway.. that's not what I am here for... I am here to introduce to your our Guest Designers for this month.. 3 awesome ladies.... now I did say this was a Thursdays fun post.. and as for me I think that having these ladies join us this month is FUN... but to make it even more fun please visit them and leave them some loving... I will each of our GDTers to choose a winner (from their comments) for a surprise prize... (I cannot reveal what it is yet as it's something we've created that's going to be revealed tomorrow at the show ... the prizes will be sent out once we return from the show).

My names Ashlee Bellinger I'm a 23 year old from Perth Tasmania and I'm a copic addict.

I love to spend any free time I have in my craft room, creating cards and anything else crafty!
I discovered copics at the paperific expo in 2010 and ever since I cant get enough of them.

I enjoy joining in the challenges and looking at everyones blogs for inspiration, its great fun!
My favourite stamps to use are magnolia and the greeting farm, they are just so cute and great to colour!
I hope to inspire people with the cards I make and to bring joy to their faces.

I'm a stay-at-home mum to 2 gorgeous boys aged 12 and 4 years. I am also a step-mum to two wonderful kids, aged 18 and 21. My husband and I have been married for 6 years now, and I couldn't be happier. I live in Victoria, just south of Melbourne and only 10 minutes from the beach. I have been scrapbooking for a few years now, but recently moved to card making. My current passion is Copics and every day I'm still learning more and more. I also love cross stitching and cooking.

I've been married for 27 years, most of them happily..lol! Anyone who's been married for as long as I have should be able to relate! We are blessed with three adult children that we are immensely proud of and one grandson. We are empty nesters as of last year and are both having the times of our lives!! I've been a crafter for most of my life and now that I'm not working I have much more time to devote to it! My passion is Copics although I am also loving my Prismacolor pencils. I saw a blog named "From Crayons to Copics". I think that about sums it up (and man.. do I wish I had thought up that one!!!)

One of our fabulous Design Team members.. Linda is not on our team anymore for some fun reasons for her... she is going to be studying full time this year and so has stepped down from M4M, Thank you Linda!!! for all your wonderful creations and inspiration during your time on the team... We will miss you but wish you all the best for your studies and know you will make a wonderful teacher!!

Guest Designers for October

Good evening.. Today we would like to share with you who our Guest Designers are this month.... We are thrilled to have these three ladies on board this month...

Melissa Barnicoat aka Mel B

Hi my name is Mel and I live on a property in Central Queensland. I have been married to Sam for 5 years now and we have to beautiful boys, Cooper who is nearly 4 and Zach who has just turned 1. I began scrapping about 8 years ago and was very focused on layouts until I got a little bored with them and tried my hand at cards. I fell in love with being able to create little pieces of art that I can give away and share. Then I found the wonderful world of Copic Markers at the beginning of this year and haven't looked back. I love being able to colour, watching my art grow and make things come to life on paper. I love all types of stamps and my collections just seems to keep growing and growing.

My name is Chris and I have been happily married to my wonderful husband Rob for 27 years, we have 2 gorgeous daughters (aged 24 & 19). I am a keen genealogist and dabble in many creative pursuits. When I discovered scrapbooking – over 10 years ago… I knew I was destined for this form of papercraft - I have always been a paper, scissors, sticker kinda girl. Card Making has become another “obsession” and with my recent discovery of Copic Markers – I’m creating them like a “woman possessed” and having a whole lot of FUN!!

Hi Everyone, I am 35 years old. Have been married to my wonderful husband for 10 years and we have two children, Lachlan 6 and Joshua 3. We live in the beautiful Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, NSW. I have been stamping for over 15 years, however my addiction to Copic Markers started in June 2010. Colouring has been a great stress reliever for me and I have enjoyed creating many cards as well as using my airbrush system to create altered flowers and backgrounds.
I was really excited when Sammi & Emma asked me to join the Mad for Markers team as Guest Designer for the month of October.

who will be joining our current Design Team.

Hi all, I am 42 years young, I work with and have been married for 13 years to my best friend Edward, we have two children Rosanna 12 and Morgan 11. We have Rusty (German Shepherd X), 2 rabbits and a cockatiel. I have always done many kinds of crafts my latest passion being card making and with that I discovered blogging last year and haven’t looked back, met some wonderful ladies and seen many amazing creations, just not enough hours in the day to try them all. Discovered Copics a couple of months ago and loooove them. Words can’t describe how excited I was when Sammi asked me to join her Design Team I am so looking forward to working at Mad for Markers with all her talented DT and sharing our passion for Copics and meeting lots of new friends on the way.
