Good morning! It's time for a new challenge here at Mad for Markers ... We would like to see you colour on something other than paper this time. You could have picked up some ideas from Kylie's embellishment tutorial .. if you missed it click HERE.
Please Feel free to also colour on paper/ make a card as long as you do colour on something else as well (eg, ribbon or flowers etc) however we would like to see you thinking outside the box on this one!! Think metal, plastic, acetate, fabric.....the possibilities are endless!!
This weeks top creator will be chosen as a Guest Designer for our next challenge (should you choose to accept) as well as receive a voucher for $16 (which will get you 2 sketch markers or 3 ciaos in the store).
To kick start the challenge with some inspiration here is a bookmark, which the fabulous Marcia from The Stamp Spot has made up....
she has made this bookmark from calico. The image was stamped in Memento ink, left to dry and then coloured. The image is a MFT image, one of the Pure Innocence range which is NEW in stock at The Stamp Spot store!! yay!!
Colours used are: Shirt – RV17, RV10, R83,
Pants – B93, B91, B91 kissed to BG10
Skin – E00, E51, R20, Hair – E33, E35,
Grass – G24, Sky – B10, Flower – Y02, YR17
And the second piece of inspiration are some shoes that I coloured in whilst on our holiday in Adelaide, one pair for my friend Ally and one for me! I came back from Certification all pumped up and turned this....
into this......
I don't have the list of Copics used but it was basically the Bs, BGs and then BVs and Vs :D
can't wait to see what you create... please link up your entries at the top of this blog!! and pop back each day to see more inspiration from the wonderful Design Team!!

Hi Sammi, wow those shoes turned out fantastic. I've done a couple of cards this weekend, they are in my FB photo files. Hmmm, what can I come up with the colour with my Ciao's, let me see.....
Wow, what a great challenge, loved it.
Hey Sammi! I really enjoyed being part of this challenge...I love your shoes and was inspired to stamp up my own (hope this is where I'm supposed to comment!).
