Challenge # 5 - Colouring White

Hello! Kylie here, and welcome to Mad for Markers. It is a very chilly morning here in Canberra, I hope wherever you are you are nice and warm!

It is my turn to host a challenge and for the next month, we are challenging you to colour something WHITE!

A lot of people are a little daunted by this, but it is actually really easy! If you visited on Friday, you will have seen my tutorial (HERE if you happened to miss it) and our very talented Annette has also done a tutorial for us previously on colouring snow, which you can see HERE.

Our first piece inspiration piece for you today is by the gorgeous Marcia Pringle:

Marcia has coloured her trees with Copic colours: C1, C2, C3 and BG10, very pretty!

And my little piece of inspiration for you is a little wine bottle topper card which opens to reveal a recipe:

And a close up so you can see the colouring:

I have used Copics:

Shirt & Hat: W0, W1, W3
Skin: E13, E11,E 00,E 000, E93 (cheeks)
Hair: E25, E29
Pants: B21, B23, B26
Shoes: 100, W7, W5, W3
Colander and fork: C1, C3
Pasta: YR 20

Sammi has set the prize to be an amazing $10 gift voucher for Mad for Markers! The challenge will run until August 14th, so you have ample time to colour your whites.

Remember to pop back here daily to check out what the rest of the amazing Design Team have to share with you to get your creative juices flowing.
