PAPERIFIC

Good evening! I am checking in after Paperific! with couple of things to share! :D
Firstly - as promised at the show - here are the posters I made up for our stall that show ideas for colouring Skin and Hair with Copics...

The images I used for these posters were ones I had purchased from The Greeting Farm! I LOVE TGF stamps as they are GREAT for doing skin and hair - such fun to colour!

Paperific was AMAZING! Although VERY tiring too LOL! I was not sure how it would go but we had LOTS of wonderful people come through the stall.. THANKS to EVERYONE who came and said hello and came and bought stuff from our stall!

I am so thankful
to my sister - Nic for coming with me to help out every day!! She worked incredibly hard and I could not have done it without her!

and also my AMAZING DT girls from Melbourne...

was wonderful, firstly ... in letting me sell her stamps - Spesch stamps on the stall - They were a great addition - those stamps are wonderful to colour and in the photos I'm posting below they are the ones used for the enlarged images! She was also invaluable in helping set up, pack up and manage the stall on Manic Friday)! Awesome to meet her and thankful for the lifts she gave us too!!

Annette and her lovely daughter Rosanna
were amazing on Saturday - was such a pleasure to meet them and have them in the stall helping out, selling, colouring and answering people's Copic questions!!

Emma
It was so good to meet her IRL and she brilliant on Sunday with her colouring demos - showing many people how to colour in lovely hair and pretty PINK!!! :D

Marcia from The Stamp Spot was also wonderful sending me some of her stock - Discounted stamps to sell on the store! THANKS Marcia! It was good to be able to have some more stamps people could get to use their newly bought Copics on! Many people also appreciated the discount coupons she sent!!

I could go on... but I will show you some piccies of the stall and then sign off... there will be some more piccies on my personal blog during the week!
This is what the stall looked like when we arrived...
Tracey and I on the Thursday... prior to setting up...
then some pics of the stall set up!

It was also really great to meet Mandi - one of Copic's Australian Certified Regional Instructors - she was running Copic classes at the show which we kept hearing were wonderful! Thanks also to Mandi for dropping off some extra things we needed on the Sat!! :D

and then a shot of the stall all packed up... THANKS to all those who enabled us to send much less home than we brought!! :D

Our colouring Pink challenge continues this week.. looking forward to catching up on all the entries now I'm back home!

You Gotta love Pink!

Hi There, Emma here with some not so Pink inspiration for you! The reason behind my not so pink inspiration is my 15 month old little boy! I did have a very nice Pink colored card to share with you, but I left it on desk last night so that I could photograph it today and of course one of the first things my little man did this morning was climb onto my desk and get my copics out and start coloring! I think I may have another copic lover in the family...hehe! So needless to say he wrecked my card and I have had to go with another card that I had just about finished, which happen to have little bit of pink on it. So I am sorry for the lack of Pink and will make sure next week I will have a lot more Pink! So the moral of the story is, NEVER leave your card on your desk when little people  can get to it. You live and learn...hehe!

Think Pink - Tickled Pink!

Well judging this card I would say more grey and pink!. This fortnight challenge is Colouring pink objects. So of course I had to try and make Lilith all sweet in a pink dress.. but clearly she isn't happy!.. Rather sulky looking... mmm reminds me of my daughter... anyway, enough rambling. As always I am amazed by the talent of Sammi's DT and are stunned that I am on it! Can't wait to see who's next!

Pink, Pink, Pink!!!

Good morning ... I am loving all this pink! So very sweet!!

The DT have been creating some gorgeous pink coloured work for you and I can't wait to see what you all create as well. Below is my PINK creation that I have put together - inspired by this fortnights inspiration over at The Lollipop Ladies... pop on over and join us - It's lots of FUN!! and an added bonus - you might win a $10 M4M voucher!

Now back to our colouring Pink....

The image is a CREEPY CAKES digi from The Greeting Farm!!
The colours?? Well there are a LOT ... I used nearly ALL my Pinks (Rs and RVs) ...
E000, E00, E11, Rv10, RV02, 04, 06,09, R81, 83, 85, RV10, 13, 14, 17, 19, 25, E33, E35
oh and the doiley is airbrushed with RV06

A couple of tips on colouring PINK.... sometimes the R and RV markers will bleed out (more than other colours .. soaking through the paper more quickly). So you do not need to put as much ink on your paper... try colouring with quick strokes instead of lots of circles if you are having problems. Also... using a good quality blending cardstock such as the Xpress IT blending card will help! If you are having troubles with cardstock leave a message here and I will send you a small sample of Xpress IT card so you can try it out :D

Her hair is Y04, Y21, Y23, & YR24

Scrapping Saturday

Finally Im here to share my scrapping saturday with you... with the nice weather outside today who could resist sitting out in the sun... so sorry for the delay...

So here it is... today i thought i would try something different to show you... We have all probably got some sort of die cutting machine at home either a cuttlebug or some other type....well im a huge gadget girl LOL... I love my die cutting machines and my favourite of all would be my Silhouette Machine.... This machine is awesome it cuts anything that you want eg. Fonts, shapes anything....

So today i thought why not try and colour my own die cut shapes to match my papers....so using my copic paper that i have i ran that through my Silhoutte machine to cut out my banner that you see across the bottom of the photos and also the "Beautiful" title was cut as well....

I then grabbed my copics and coloured them in... the title is coloured in with my new addiction the Spica pens...just that added bling makes all the difference....

Here is my page
With the banner i coloured that in with my pens again using the spica pen to add bling to the string part of the banner... I then took my colourless blender and added dots to each triangle on the banner... such a cute effect and so easy to do.....

Here are some close up shots of my page....Copics used: R46,RV04, 0, Spica pens: Pink,Lipstick and MultiLiner .5
Thanks hope your all enjoying your weekend

Vintage Magnolia

I decided to do a vintage card using my distress inks around the outside and using my beloved copics to colour the image in soft pinks. Over the voil on her dress I used white Perfect Pearls. When this is used with light coloured copics, it really stands out as white and shimmery.. although it takes a bad photo and you cant see it!!. I love how this card turned out.

Have a great weekend and see you next week!

Quick & Easy, Fast & Simple

A super simple card for you this week and a technique ANYONE with copics can do with no training or lessons....... colouring paper flowers to match your card. Simple dimple, just use the brush tip to either colour completely, as shown on the bottom cream flower (E50) or touch the tip lightly and brush outwards as shown on the top blue flower (E15) to just highlight certain areas of the flower.
This is fantastic when you just don't have the "perfect" coloured flower!
